St Anthony of Padua is a small Catholic Primary School based in Sands Road, Liverpool 18. The school originally opened in Green Lane (now Our Lady of the Annunciation) in the early 50s but then moved to the present site in 1971.
Everything we do at St. Anthony of Padua reflects our school Mission Statement and Motto, which is “Growing Together Following Jesus”
Over the last few years the school has been very successful in achieving a variety of awards, for example:
The “School Games Gold Award,” this is a national award, which demonstrates the school’s commitment to physical activity.
“Liverpool Healthy Schools Award,” in recognition of our commitment to encouraging healthy lifestyles.
“Dyslexia Friendly School Level 1,” showing our support for all those with Special Needs.
In addition we hold the Inclusion Mark, the Basic Skills Quality Mark , Liverpool Counts Quality Mark and Liverpool Reading Quality Mark.
